Can I make calls and texts?
Yes, the eSIM includes a US phone number (+1), allowing you to make unlimited local calls and send texts. You can call Uber drivers, hotels, your travel companions during the journey, and more.
How to install my eSIM?
It’s no QR-code-scan installation. It’s easier and more convenient. A notification will be sent to your device on your activation date. Simply click "Add eSIM" to install. If you don't receive the notification due to your privacy settings, you can manually install the eSIM. Check here for details.
Is my device compatible with eSIM?
Dial *#06#. If you see both an EID and an IMEI code, your device is most likely eSIM compatible. Additionally, the device must be carrier unlocked.
What is the network coverage of the eSIM?
It covers most cities, with the exception of some remote and mountainous areas.
What is the Activation Date?
The Activation Date is when the eSIM becomes valid and ready to install. You choose this date when ordering, typically your arrival date. It will be ready by 10:00 AM New York Time/EST (UTC/GMT -5). If you arrive earlier and need immediate connection, select the Activation Date for the day before your arrival.
When will my eSIM expire?
It will expire at 23:59 New York Time (EST, UTC/GMT -5). For example, if the activation date is August 1st with a duration of 10 days, it will expire at 23:59 on August 10th.
Can I use Hotspot with the eSIM?
Hotspot is not supported. However, with high-speed unlimited data, it's very affordable to order an eSIM for each travel companion.
How fast is the eSIM?
It offers 5G/4G high-speed network. However, connectivity may be restricted in certain locations, such as underground areas and elevators.
Can I keep my WhatsApp number?
Yes, you can keep your WhatsApp number and use it to contact your friends and family. The eSIM provides a US phone number, allowing unlimited local calls.
Can I delete my eSIM?
NO, DO NOT DELETE your eSIM. It cannot be restored once
deleted. If you encounter any issues, please contact us for support and
solutions.
Can I keep my current SIM card?
Yes, you can switch your line to eSIM while keeping your physical SIM card, ensuring you never miss any important calls or texts.
Can I renew or extend my eSIM?
No, it can't be extended. You need to buy a new eSIM at
least 3 days before the old eSIM expires, delete the old one after it expires,
then install the new one.
What's the delivery time of my eSIM?
In 3 days after providing us the IMEI and EID. For rush orders, the activation process can be shortened to 2 days.
